Jessie McGruder, a former player at Barton High School under the legendary Frank McClellan, has been named the head football coach at Marvell High School. McGruder played on one of Barton's state championship teams in 1994. McGruder studied sociology at Arkansas State University and previously taught in the Osceola Public Schools.
