Ouachita Football Holds Steady at No. 11 in AFCA Coaches Poll

WACO, Tex.- The Ouachita Tigers captured a 33-12 victory over Southwestern Oklahoma State on Saturday, but it wasn't enough to fuel them into the top 10 in this week's AFCA Coaches Poll. Ouachita stuck at No. 11 for the second straight week, despite a loss from No. 3 Grand Valley State.

Grand Valley State fell to No. 14 in the poll following their loss, with Minnesota State-Mankato leap-frogging the Tigers into 10th place.

The Great American Conference has three teams in the Top 25 this week, with Henderson State moving up to No. 12 behind Ouachita and Harding breaking into the Top 25 at No. 23.

Ouachita will take on Arkansas-Monticello this weekend on the road. Kickoff for that contest is at 3 p.m.
