Little Rock, AR -- The "Hoosegow," slang term for "jail, will soon be short of one police officer. Thaddeus Marlene Kalb, for Helena-West Helena Police Officer, appeared before a federal magistrate in Little Rock, AR on yesterday. Magistrate Judge Jerome Kearney heard arguments from the prosecution and defense sides of the case. According to the Arkansas Democrat Gazette, Judge Kearney released Kalb to live with her sister in Conway, AR. Kalb's mother is being required to move to Conway, AR and be available to monitor Kalb who must be monitored 24 hours a day.
