Former Ill. governor Blagojevich sentenced to 14 years in prison
A federal judge sentenced former Illinois governor Rod Blagojevich to
14 years in prison for 18 corruption counts that include trying to
auction off President Obama's old Senate seat. Blagojevich apologized
in court, saying he had made "terrible mistakes" but "never set out to
break the law," the Associated Press reports.
